12 Indians held for entering Bangladesh UNB, Satkhira Members of Bangladesh Rifles (BDR) arrested 12 people while they were entering illegally into Bangladesh from India through Bhomra border early Friday. The arrested were identified as Santosh Mitra, 55, Tarak Chandra Sana, 28, M Enamul Mollah, 27, Swarnasi Mandol, 30, Renuka Rani, 23, Sudip Mondal, 4, Shahanaz Begum, 26, Russell Miah, 8, Shahida Khatun, 25, Asma Khatun, 3, Asia Khatun, 2, and Shantonu Saha, 22. A patrol team of Bhomra Camp BDR arrested them in the early hours of the day while they were entering Bangladesh without passports. Claiming them as Bangladesh nationals, the arrested people said they hailed from different areas of Satkhira and Madaripur districts. They said they went to India six months back without valid papers in search of beter employment They were handed over to sadar police. A case was filed in this connection. Earlier, on Wednesday, 11 such intruders were arrested for entering into Bangladesh without valid papers, police said.
