Journalist Jawadur Rahman passes away BSS, Dhaka Eminent journalist Jawadur Rahman died of cancer here on Wednesday night at the age of 72. He is survived by wife, two daughters, one son and a host of relatives to mourn his death. . Rahman was an assistant editor of The Bangladesh Observer and a part time teacher of Department of Mass Communication and Journalism of Dhaka University. Earlier, he also worked with the national news agency Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha (BSS) as news manager.
