Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Thursday greeted the Emir of Qatar Shaikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani on occasion of the National Day of Qatar.

"I avail myself of this opportunity to express the happiness over the cordial relations and co-operation existing between Bangladesh and Qatar and I strongly believe that the relations will be further strengthened for the mutual benefit and welfare of the two people." The prime Minister said in a message.

Sheikh Hasina conveyed her best wishes for the good health and personal well-being of the Emir of Qatar and for continued peace, progress, and prosperity of the brotherly people of Qatar.
