'Bangladesh Embassy in USA to extend more mobile consular services' BSS, Dhaka The Bangladesh Embassy is going to arrange more mobile consular services in America. Bangladesh Ambassador to the USA Akramul Qader made this announcement when he met Non-resident Bangladeshis (NRBs) in Chicago recently, a message received here on Thursday. Ambassador Qader also discussed issues related to welfare of the NRBs and sought their opinion and suggestions to help the embassy in providing prompt and better services to the community. He also visited the mobile consular centre of the Bangladesh Embassy in Chicago and thanked the local NRBs for their excellent support to the Bangladesh Embassy. Ambassador Qader also assured NRBs in Chicago that from now onwards the mobile consular service of the Bangladesh Embassy will be extended at least once in a year in Chicago. Earlier, on his arrival in Chicago, Ambassador Qader paid a visit to "Sheikh Mujib Way", a road dedicated to the memory of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at Devon Avenue in Chicago. He also visited probable places for erecting a sculpture of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman in the city and discussed it with officials of the Chicago Mayor Office and local Bangladeshi expatriates there, the message added.
