Kamal blames indemnity law for the delay Staff Reporter Gano Forum President Dr Kamal Hossain has demanded investigation of the reasons behind delay to get the final verdict of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman murder. In an instant reaction after the verdict at the High Court, he said 'so-called' indemnity law should be blamed for the delay. Dr. Kamal said those responsible for causing the delay should be brought to book. In this connection, he said those who opposed the country's independence, were responsible for the killing as they wanted to create leadership vacuum in post-Independent Bangladesh. Describing the verdict as a big achievement, he said, it was an achievement not for any individual but for the entire nation. Asked about his role following the murder, Dr Kamal said that he was out of the country during the tragic incident and severed relationship with the government formed after the killing.
