The organisational activities of BNP and its associate bodies have been started at Rupganj upazila under Narayanganj district. The leaders are being elected through secret ballots. The new committees of Jubodal and JCD were elected on 31st October at Rupganj, Golakandail and Bholabao union.

Kazi Moniruzzaman, Convener of upazila BNP, said that the senior leaders of the party were working to sew all fences, to forget the past enmity and controversy. Advocate Mahfuzur Rahman said, "Some selfish leaders stole party's image. Now we are united under Moniruzzaman." Advocate Rezaul Haque said, leaders and workers from other organisations were then joining BNP.
