The written test for admission into the first year honors classes for the session 2009-2010 under Kha unit of the University of Dhaka was held here Friday.

Vice chancellor of the university Professor Dr AAMS Arefin Siddique, Pro- Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Harun-or-Rashid, Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Chief Coordinator of Kha Unit Admission Test Professor Dr Sadrul Amin, senior teachers and officers of the university visited the examination hall.

A total of 24,657 candidates appeared at the admission test under Kha Unit this year in 60 centers for 2,303 seats, said a press release.

Earlier, application forms of 258 candidates were cancelled because of submitting more than one form or submitting different forms with different photos or not fulfilling the criteria set for the admission test.
