North South University will take on Independent University Bangladesh in the lone opening match of the 'Mentors' Inter Private University Football Tournament at the Army Stadium on Saturday at 2:30 pm.

Bangladesh Football Federation president Kazi Salahuddin will inaugurate the meet as chief guest. Khairul Hasan, managing director of Mentors' Educations, will be present as special guest.

Eleven universities, split into three groups, will take part in the tournament. BFF will provide official support to make the tournament a success.

The final match of the tournament will be held on November 19 at the same venue at 3:15 pm.

The participating teams:

Group A : North South University, Independent University - Bangladesh, The University of Asia Pacific, Dhaka International University.

Group B : IUBAT, Gono Bishwabiddalaya, Stamford University, Presidency University.

Group C : Northern University Bangladesh, BRAC University, and East West University.
