Journalists of Netrakona in a condolence meeting paid rich tributes to late Safiuddin Ahmed, Ex. President of Bangladesh Sangadik Samity. Netrakona District Sangadik Samity (NDSS) organised the meeting in memory of Safiuddin who breathed his last on October 23.

Haider Jahan Chowdhury, incumbent President of NDSS chaired the meting which was addressed by, among others, Vice President Abdur Rahim Farazi, Bangladesh Sangadik Samity central committee member Hafizur Rahman Khan, General Secretary of Netrakona Press Club Shaymolendu Paul, President of Netrakona Reporters Club Humayun Kabir Salim and General Secretary of district Sangbadik Samity Mahbubul Kibria Cho-wdhury.

They in a body recalled the contributions of late Safiuddin Ahmed in the field of journalism and in the development of socio-economic condition of the mafussil journalists.
