Sports Reporter

Bangladesh Cricket team led by Shakib Al Hasan will take on Zimbabwe Cricket team led by stand by skipper Hamilton

Masakadza today in the fifth and last ODI of the Grameenphone five-match ODI Series at the Johur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong. The match starts at 10.30 AM BST (Bangladesh Standard Time).

Bangladesh Television will telecast the match live from the stadium.

Bangladesh led the series 3-1.

Zimbabwe made a good start as they defeated Bangladesh by five wickets in the first ODI at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium on October 27.

Later, Bangladesh took a sweet revenge as the Tigers thrashed the Africans by seven wickets in the second ODI at the same venue on October 29.

Bangladesh made it 2-1 when the hosts crushed the tourists by four wickets at the same venue on October 31.

Bangladesh retained their winning streak 3-1 as the Tigers outplayed the visitors by six wickets in the fourth ODI at the Chittagong Johur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium on November 3.

Shakib Al Hasan had already shown how ambitious this Bangladesh side is by stating that they were aiming for a 4-1 victory after the opening match defeat. His team have lifted their game enough to seal the series, and one more solid performance will make them achieve their captain's goal of a lopsided series win.

Stand by skipper Hamilton Masakadza said, 'It is very difficult for a team like Zimbabwe to bounce back from international hibernation and quickly reach the peak to take international pressures.'

However, the cricket lovers of the country want to watch that the Tigers finished their Zimbabwe campaign with a happy note.
