The first meeting of the media committee of the 11th South Asian Games was held on Tuesday at Bangladesh Olympic Association.

The 8-nation games will be held in Bangladesh in January-February.

The meeting chaired by committee convener Asaduzzaman Noor, MP approved three sub-committees to ensure maximum media facilities for the local and foreign journalists.

A committee will prepare budget for the eight-nation Games, another committee will ensure the Games publicity preparing different TV promotional highlighting the regional games and the third committee will work for maximum coverage in the national dailies, Television Channels, Radio and web-based newspapers after arranging meetings with the editors.

Bangladesh going to hosts the prestigious South Asian Games for the third times after successful holding of the games in 1985 and 1993.
