A different view on HIV Dr. M A Hasan Today, people know that global warming and environmental disaster has direct relation with flood, drought, sunami etc. But how many of us know that new virus mutation has direct relation with rapid environmental changes. Endemic Bird flue had been turned into pandemic, Corona virus had evolved SARS and very recently common flue has been transformed into A/H1N1 swine flue because of environmental disaster. A few years ago I have invented that wiping out forest in Africa had brought human being close to chimp. Further to that global warming Co2 execs and ground level UV radiation had excited simian immuno deficiencies virus to change its host. Because of that that HIV has been originated in the soil of Africa and that is from SIV. Our research confirms that HIV has certain relation with global warming, execs carbon dioxide emission, UV radiation and ecological changes. Probably the retrovirus that was transmitted from Chimp to Human being was HIV2 (mutated from SIV), which has longer incubation period and less virulence. Later it may have mutated and evolved into HIV1. An intermediate host that has made this zoonosis successful is still missing. Certain human beings played the role of intermediate host in certain conditions. Homosexuality has created an environment favorable for HIV transmission. We have found that certain group of E-coli causing hemorrhagic enterocollitis in animal and micro level UV light emitting yeast-taking harbor in female gentle organ created an ideal environment for HIV transmission and HIV evolution. This is Dr. Hasan's Theory of HIV Evolution. All these novel idea was published in our book "Basic Questions on AIDS & Field Level Research", ISBN 984-32-3562-2) and today further research on the subjects are gong on. Under this circumstance, we are eager to disseminate the new theory of HIV evolution and inform all governments and experts about the new approach of Aids prevention. Hope media can extend their helping hand to change our world. AIDS Prevention and AIDS Epidemiology 1. Origin of AIDS from the soil of Africa can be regarded as an established fact. 2. HIV1and HIV2 both have been originated from the African Continent. 3. In the year 1995 some scientist detected certain type of HIV in Senegal, which cross-reacted with simian Immunodeficiency virus (SIV). Similar type of virus was found in Guinea Bissau in the year 1980. It was detected in Ivory Coast in 1966. It was found in Gabon and in Nigeria in 1967. This is the history of HIV2. 4. Presence of HIV in human body could be tracked back to 1958. 5. In essence, it is confirmed that HIV has been originated in the soil of Africa and probably it has been muted from SIV. 6. Our research confirms that HIV has certain relation with global warming, excess carbon dioxide emission, UV radiation and ecological changes. 7. Probably the retrovirus that was transmitted from Chimp to Human being was HIV2 (mutated from SIV), which has longer incubation period and less virulence. Later it may have mutated and evolved HIV1. An intermediate host that has made this zoonosis successful is still missing. 8. However, human effort to contain the HIV dissemination is not satisfactory. So in some African countries half of the populations are infected with HIV. Poverty, lack of education, lack of health facilities, lack of employment and rapid urbanization has a pivotal role behind rapid transmission of the diseases in Africa. 9. Mindset and personality are important factor that leads to high-risk sex activity. Gin has a definite role in construction of human mind and tendency. 10. All out aggressive policy to be made to contain the progress of the disease. 11. As women are getting more infected by HIV, they should be addressed with special attention. 12. Counseling and prevention efforts need to target high risk groups and be sensitive to the social realities of poor women, IDUs, inner-city women and women of color. 13. HIV clinics need to address women's needs. 14. Drug rehabilitation programs need to accommodate pregnant women. 15. Vigilance of Genital ulcer disease is a must to prevent HIV transmission. Genital ulcer, sore and inflammation facilitate HIV transmission. 16. Impairment of mucous barrier increases the risk of HIV transmission. So it must be prevented. 17. The presence of any STD is an indicator of increased risk of HIV infection. 18. Disease, which facilitates HIV transmission, is gonorrhoea, genital herpes, syphilis, pelvic inflammatory disease (PID), Chancroid and chlamydia. 19. Viral cofactors, which help HIV expression, are hepatitis B (HBV) and HTLV-1 virus. Other viruses that have been proposed as cofactors include cytomegalovirus (CMV), Epstein-Barr virus (EBV), herpes simplex virus type-2 (HSV-2). Vaccine against above viruses could have inhibited HIV progression in certain circumstance. 20. Another common infection, which favors HIV transmission, is E.coli infection and yeast infestation. New Approach in AIDS Prevention 1. "Persons who do not know whether a sex partner is infected must not allow his or her blood (including menstrual blood), semen, urine, vaginal secretion, faeces to enter in vagina, anus or mouth." 2. Use condom for vaginal, rectal and oral sex. 3. Have circumcision where appropriate. Use viricide with cervical cap/ Diaphragm. 4. Use nonoxynol-9 foam, jellies, creams with condom. 5. Other suitable viricide like anthraquinones or Dextran sulfate can prevent HIV transmission when they are used locally. Polyanionic compound Dextran sulfate block infection and syncytia formation by inhibiting virus adsorption to the cell surface. Anthraquinones inhibit HIV replication. This photoactive compound produce singlet oxygen in response to light. It is active against enveloped virus. It blocks HIV replication by preventing viral fusion. 6. Our invented drug DQX combi gel is combination of a drug like anthraquinone and a viricide of plant origin. It is to be used before coitus. It can provide more than 50% protection when used along with other barrier like cervical cap. Diaphragm etc. With condom it would provide almost 90% protection. Normally condom efficacy is 69% overall. 7. Treat genital ulcer and get rid of all sores and inflammation. 8. Maintain intake of antioxidant like vitamin C and selenium to inhibit viral expression. 9. Have hepatitis B and other vaccines against those diseases which act as cofactor in AIDS transmission. 10. Treat HIV infected mother and avoid vertical transmission. 11. Avoid high-risk sex activities. Provide psychiatric counseling to unstable extrovert and introvert group to avoid high-risk sex activity.
