Anima to attend Delhi fest

Country's one of the promising, leading Tagore singer Anima Roy is going to attend Delhi festival, which will kick off from September 24. There is a cultural platform of Bangalees named 'Bikolpa' in Delhi. Avery Chauri, Purnendu Chakraborty, Badal Chak-raborty, among others, are involved to organise this gala event on the occasion of Durga Puja.

Anima will leave Dhaka for Delhi on September 21. She will perform in five cultural programmes. Her first programme will be held at Kashmiri Gate on September 24 and rests are in New Delhi. The programme, which will be held on September 28, is going to be organised by Bangladesh High Commission in New Delhi.

Anima will represent Tagore songs in the programme along with from Bangladesh singer Bijon Mistri will render Nazrul and folk song in the programmes. From Bangladesh, country's noted dance artiste Lubna Marium's organisation 'Shadhona - A Centre for Advancement of South Asian Dance & Music, is set to organising the tour.
