Unilever Bangladesh initiates a nice landscaping with the sculpture of a freedom fighter "Kingbodonti" in the round about in front of Sony Cinema Hall at Mirpur - 1, a densely populated area of the expanding part of Dhaka city.

City Mayor, Sadek Hossain Khoka and Unilever Bangladesh's Brands and Development Director Naushad Chowdhury, jointly unveiled "Kingbodonti" on Thursday while Dr. K M Shahnewaz, Company Activation Manager, Mohammad Faruque, Activation Manager, Aman Ashraf Faiz, Media and Event Manager, and other concerned were present.

"Kingbodonti" is designed and Developed by Professor Hamiduzzaman Khan and the beautification site is designed and developed by Heritage, a local developer, this area now stands as a proud landmark in the part of the city fully liberated about one and half month after independence of the country.

Dhaka City Corporation extended its full support in developing the site. This site will be changed into a nice memento from Unilever Bangladesh to the people of Dhaka to break away from the hustles and bustles of their daily life.
