A seminar on ' Prospect and problem of the role of Dhaka District Sports Office and Dhaka Physical Education College in Bangladesh's sports' was held at the conference

room of National Sports Council on Wednesday.

State Minister for Youth and Sports Ahad Ali Sarker inaugurated the seminar as the chief guest.

Sports Directorate arranged the day-long seminar and Director of the Sports Directorate

Ananda Chandra Biswas presided over the seminar.

Joint-Secretary of the Ministry of Youth and Sports Gazi Mizanur Rahman, Principal of Bagerhat Physical Education College Shamsul Arefin, Bagerhat District Sports Officer Jillul Karim spoke at the seminar.

District sports officers and teachers of the physical education colleges from the whole country took part in the seminar.

State Minister for Youth and Sports Ahad Ali Sarker said district sports officer could play the key role to produce ace players from grass rout by taking initiative and training. He added that initiatives, practices and competitions around the all institutions of the country could make the development of Bangladesh's sports.
