Dr Gowhar Rijvi appointed PM’s adviser

UNB, Dhaka

Dr Gowhar Rijvi has been appointed adviser to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, said an announcement yesterday.

“The Prime Minister yesterday appointed Dr Gowhar Rijvi her adviser under the rule 3B (i) of the Rules of Business 1996,” it said.

He will enjoy the rank and status of Minister, and salary-allowances and other facilities a minister is entitled to.

With the latest appointment, the panel of advisers to the Prime Minister was expanded to seven.
