A relief team of the Faridpur district administration yesterday distributed relief goods in Shyamnagar upazila of Satkhira district.

The team led by Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) of Faridpur Abu Masud distributed Taka 2.58 lakh among the Aila victims of Gabura and Padmapukur unions of Shyamnagar upazila.

Each family was given Taka 1,000. Taka 2.58 lakh was distributed among 258 families.

The ADC told BSS that a huge quantity of knitwear vests and safe-drinking water were also distributed among the affected families.
