Bullet hit body of a leaders of Sarbahara was recovered from roadside in Madaripur district, who went missing three days ago.

The leader was identified as Mahbubur Rahman alias Kana Badal, was buried at his village home at Narayanpur under Wazirpur upazila of Barisal district on Friday noon.

The body of Kana Badal, a daring Sharbahara lea-der of Quamrul group of Barisal, was recovered from side of Barisal-Dhaka Highway at Chowhari Bari area under Rajoir upazila of Madaripur on Thursday morning.

Shahrum Khan, officer-in-charge of Wazirpur police station and Mahbubur Rahman, superintend of police of Barisal said local people seeing the body informed local police station and police recovered the body and sent it to Madaripur hospital morgue and informed nearby police stations for identification of the body.

Family members of Kana Badal rushed to the morgue and identified the body as Kana Badal, son of Abu Taleb on Thursday night.

Police said badal was wanted by police in eight cases, including four murder. He was arrested about four years ago and was freed on bail three months before.

Family sources claimed Badal went missing since Tuesday after he went out from home at Dhaka after he was called out by some people. Since then a rumor was there that he was killed by police.

A case of unnatural death was filed with Rajoir police station of Madaripur in this connection.
