National children graft arts competition titled 'Mercantile Bank Baishakh-e Chhobi Ako Jaishthy-e Prodarshini Jatiyo Shishu Chitrakala Protijogita' organised by Patua Quamrul Hassan Art School will be held in June, says a press release.

All the children of the country from three to 16 years old are requested to participate in the contest. Competition will be held in four categories. These are: Group-A: Age 3 to 5+, B: 6 to 8+, C: 9 to 12+ and D: 13 to 16 years. Candidate's name, father's name, mother's name, date of birth, age, mobile number, name of school, class, full address is a must behind the drawing paper. Each candidate can drop at best three pictures. Drawing must be sent by May 30 at Patua Quamrul Hasan Art School, 53 North Pirerbagh, Shewrapara, Mirpur, Dhaka. The jury board will select 200 drawings for exhibition. The exhibition will be held from June 11 to 20 at Zainul Gallery at the Faculty of Fine Arts of Dhaka University. Award giving ceremony will be held at Shawkat Osman Memorial Auditorium of the Central Public Library on June 20.
