BNP office case: Khaleda's objection rejected

A Court of Dhaka yesterday rejected the objection of BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia for including another person as a defendant of the case she filed in connection with the ownership of BNP office at Naya Paltan of the city.

Judge Mamunur Rashid of Subordinate Judge's Seventh Court passed the order. Earlier AKM Shamsul Alam submitted a petition for including him in the case, Begum Zia filed on behalf of Ziaur Rahman. Charitable Trust. In the suit she claimed the ownership of the land and building of BNP office.

The case was originally filed against eight defendants including Fazlul Haque Bhuiyan and now the number of dependants rose to 9.
