Regional Conference Chittagong-2009 of National Bank Ltd (NBL) held recently at its Chittagong Regional Office Premises.

Mozzam Hossain, Chairman of the bank was present in the conference as chief guest while Md Abdur Rahman Sarker, Managing Director of the bank presided of over the meeting.

Mozzam Hossain focused on the role of Bankers for socio-economic development of our country. He instructed to overcome existing global financial crisis by realistic deposit mobilisation, implementation of risk management, human resource development, extension of credit in productive sectors specially agro based activities, SME Finance & best quality customers service.

Managing Director gave directives for marketing of NBL products including credit card and sending foreign remittance from the wage earners at the doorsteps of the customers.

He also advised all concerned to perform their responsibilities with more professional excellence, skill and efficiency.

Md. Badiul Alam, Deputy Managing Director & Regional Head of Chittagong delivered the welcome speech at the conference.
