A delegation team of Bangladesh Chamber of Industries (BCI) will meet Commerce Minister Lt. Col. (Retd) Faruk Khan today.

The Delegation team-led by its President Shahedul Islam (Helal) will include all the directors of the chamber.

Salman F Rahman, Sponsor Director of BCI also the Vice Chairman of Beximco Group and BCI Former President AK Azad are also expected to be present at the meeting.

BCI source said that they would welcome new commerce minister and present specific directions to improve the current commerce situation during the meeting.

Promoting country products, tackling current economic recession, developing power generation and supply system and making a business friendly government will be got preference during the meeting, the business body said.

BCI President said, "We will focus our proposal to the government through him. We expect that he will give preference on our proposal."
