ARSDC to perform medical check up of poor children Our correspondent, Barisal Aloshikha Rajihar Social Development Center(ARSDC) under Agoiljhara upazila of Barisal district has taken an initiative to perform a medical check-up of the children of pre-play group living below the poverty line and attach them with school under Aloshikha project. James Mridul Halder, executive director of the ARSDC said a nine-member team of child specialists led by Dr. Jeop under Medical Check-up of the Children(MCC) programme of the Netherlands performing this checkup programme in Agoiljhara, Uzirpur upazila of Barisal and Kotalipara upazila of Gopalganj district. The team has plan to do the free medical service and medicines among 1,200 pre-school group of 20 schools operated by the organization. The programme began on Sunday to continue till February 14.
