Alliance Francaise organised a musical soiree of Sharmila Roy Pommo titled 'Songs and poems of the four winds' at its La Galerie at Dhanmondi in the city on Monday.

Sharmila Roy rendered songs of Lalon Fakir, Rabindranath Tagore, DL Roy, Atul Prasad, Rajanikanta Sen and Kazi Nazrul Islam at the function.

A huge number of audiences gathered at the show and enjoyed the musical soiree. Sharmila was accompanied by Sewli Basu on esraj and Rajnarayan Bhattacharya on tabla, khol and daaf.
