Agro Service Centre (ASC) has earned Tk. three lakh 57 thousand by selling vegetables and saplings in the district till December 2008.

The ASC, a wing of Bangladesh Agriculture Development Corporation (BADC), has fixed a target of earning Tk. six lakh 50 thousand for the fiscal 2008-2009 by selling vegetables and saplings.

According to ASC office sources, the wing has brought seven acres under the cultivation programme of different vegetables and crops and raising saplings of timber and fruit bearing trees.
