Oli demands abolition of CG system UNB, Dhaka LDP president Dr Oli Ahmed has sought to abolish the system of caretaker government saying nowhere in the world such a system derogatory to the politicians is found. The newly elected MP from Chittagong, Oli speaking at a reception at the party office yesterday said it is unfortunate for the nation that the political parties do not take each other into confidence and fail to resolve the problems of the country. "It is indecent and unbearable that a few people neither elected nor linked with the masses are imposed upon the nation to dictate the politicians. We shall not allow some stooges of the alien powers sitting in cozy hotel to humiliate the politicians," he said about the council of advisers of the caretaker government. LDP leader congratulated the Awami League president Sheikh Hasina for his party's landslide victory in the election and assured cooperation to her government. He suggested that the ruling party will implement its pledges to the nation including trial of the war criminals, strengthening the Anti-Corruption Commission, reforms of the judiciary, bring down prices of essentials and easy loans to the farmers.
