BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia yesterday called upon the voters to elect the candidates of four-party alliance in the forthcoming parliamentary election on December 29.

" Elect BNP candidates to save the people and the save the country," she said while addressing an election rally at Dhaka-9 constituency yesterday night.

Joint Secretary General of BNP and former minister Mirza Abbas and party candidate in Dhaka-9 constituency Sirin Sultana also spoke on the occasion.

Terming the polls as crucial, Khaleda said " If you want to see continued peace and development then vote BNP".

She said the country's independence and sovereignty would not be protected if a particular came to power.

"They had killed innocent persons in the street in broad day light with oar and pol," she mentioned.

Begum Zia also addressed at different election rallies at different constituencies till mid night.
