Election campaign has gained momentum at Monirampur upazila as the voting day on December 29 is approaching nearer as the candidates are giving finishing touch in the electioneering.

Local election office sources said four candidates are on the race for the seat.

The candidates are passing busy days as they are trying to go house to house to wing the hearts of the voters with different promises. They are also holding public meetings, processions and other means of publicity using loud speakers by their workers. They are promising to voters to meet different demands raised by voters, if they are elected.
