Madaripur JS election candidates promise to meet voters’ demand

The candidates of the parliamentary election only six days away are committing to meet the demands of the voters as the electioneering in the district has reached the peak as the polling day is approaching closer.

A total of 14 candidates are vying for three seats constituted with four upazilas of the district, election office sources said.

The candidates are-Nur-e-Alam Chowdhury(Liton) of the grand alliance, Advocate Habibur Rahman9Independent, Nuruddin Mollah of Islamic Constitutional Movement(ICM) and Abdullah Md Hasan, of the four-party combine canidate of Madaripur-1 constituency(Shibchar).

Shahjahan Khan of AL, Abdul Malek of ICM, Helen Jerin Khan of the four-party combine are on race for Madaripur-2 constituency (Sadar-Rajoir).

Syed Abul Hossain of AL, Md. Belayet Hossain Islam of ICM, Habibur Rahman Azad of the BNP-led four party combine and Tasmin Rana, Shahidul Islam(independent) are vying for Madaripur-3 seat(Sadar and part of Kalkini).

All the candidates are passing busy days as they come out of their home and work till late at night. They going house to house to woo the voters and promising to solve various problems if elected.

The candidates are promising to construct roads, to establish medical college, hospital, set up industry in Madaripur, construction of bypass road from Madaripur to Sibchar, Shariatpur, Chandpur, tp repair most of the roads.
