Lalmonirhat UNO stand released

UNB, Lalmonirhat

Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) and assistant returning officer of Sadar upazila was stand released yesterday on charge of political bias in election activities.

UNO K M Ali Newajesh was stand released and made OSD following an allegation by grand alliance candidate of sadar constituency G M Qader.

Assistant Commissioner of Barisal Md Rajamiah has been given the charge of the upazila.

Deputy Commissioner M Alauddin Fakir confirmed the incident.
