Bangladesh-Iraq Friendship Association yesterday formed a human chain in front of National Eidgah in the city demanding release of Iraqi journalist Muntazar-Al-Zaidi who threw his shoes to the president of United State Gorge W Bush at a press conference.

President of the Association Advocate Kabir Kuraishi presided over the programme, while Vice Presidents Advocate Mofizul Islam and Advocate Md Jahirul Islam, central leader of Gono Forum Dilip Tadra, Prof Gias Uddin, Dr Humayun Chowdhury, M Kamal Uddin Habibi, Md Nazim Uddin Chowdhury among others, took part in the programme.
