Bomb hurled at 4-party candidate at Bhola

A bomb was hurled at the car carrying four-party candidate in Bhola-2 constituency Ashiqur Rahman Shanta last night.

The car was partially damaged but the candidate was unhurt. Ashiqur Rahman is the son of late Naziur Rahman Manjur, who was president of BJP.

Naziur fought Awami League leader Tofail Ahmed over political supremacy for long in the area.

Members of the law enforcing agencies are visiting the spot at the time of filing this report last night.
