Only ballot box is no guarantee
This year the Election Commission has introduced see-through Ballot Boxes, mostly at the insistance of some western countries who are the suppliers of the boxes (a good business promotional). It is told, very often and loudly, that it is a cock-sure way to make the election fair and transparent too. I would not have naturally differed with those lofty idea had there been no other visible hole(s) which may wide open the door of electoral malpractices. Such as: are all the EC officials, including the on duty polling officials, impartial and had no political linage of their own; what about false voting or proxy appearance as it is not compulsory to show the much talked about National ID cards? All the more, the threatening muscle-power(s). Average wisdom suggests these holes (allowed to remain in force, may be deliberately) are good enough to put marks of doubt on the upcoming polls. However, let us hope that does not happen.

To green life
Melting down of ice in the Arctic zone is a confirmed sign of global warming. Scientists all over the world are very much concerned about the adverse effects of greenhouse gases on climate and overall environment. The degree of damage so far caused by the emission of greenhouse gases has yet to be calculated and confirmed. Meanwhile it has become indispensably essential to take global action to containing release of greenhouse gases into earth's atmosphere. For this, we are to move to green life-style, that is, increasing greening activities by planting more trees, using green energy sources like bio-fuels, solar power, etcetera. It is now confirmed beyond doubt that we have to control/reduce the emission of greenhouse gases, such as, CO2, NF3, etc. for keeping the earth habitable for flora and fauna.
