A discussion meeting and recitation pre-sentation was held at the Music and Dance Centre Auditorium of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy on Sunday to mark the Martyred Intellectual Day.

Noted drama personality Nasiruddin Yusuff and filmmaker Chashi Nazrul Islam were present as key speakers at the discussion.

Bhuiyan Safiqul Islam, Director General of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy chaired the meeting, while Sunil Chandra Das gave welcome speech at the function. Speakers at the discussion commemorated contributions of the martyred in the Liberation War.

After discussion, recitation artistes led by Shimul Yusuff presented a number of recitations at the function.
