BNP chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia will be here tomorrow to address a party rally, as electioneering has started gaining momentum.

Begum Zia is scheduled to address the rally at Government Debendra College ground at 2:00pm.

Party sources said local BNP leaders and activists are taking extensive preparations for the showdown since the district is considered as a BNP stronghold.

BNP Secretary General Khandaker Delwar Hossain got the party ticket from Manikgangj-1 while industrialist Harunur Rashid Khan Munnu from Manikganj-3 and his daughter Afroza Khan Rita from Manikganj-2 to contest the December 29 parliamentary polls.
