A man, who was injured in a gun attack at Char Kutur in Sakkhin Keraniganj, died at Chest Disease Hospital in the capital early yesterday.

The deceased was identified as Shahadat, 45.

Sources said armed terrorists stormed into the house of Anwar at about 11:30 pm on Monday and opened fire, leaving tenants of the house-Shahadat and Ahmad-injured.

Anwar was rushed to Chest Disease Hospital while Ahmad to Orthopedics Hospital in Dhaka. Shahadat succumbed to his injuries this morning.
