McCain’s adopted daughter to return to Bangladesh UNB, Dhaka US Senator John McCain has said their adopted daughter Bridget will return to her native-land Bangladesh after finishing her high-school course next year. "We are very fortunate to have her…She pays close attention to this country. She wants to return," McCain told a correspondent at a pre-departure press conference at Zia international airport. "Yes, she will be coming back," said the Senator, fresh from the US presidential election race. McCain's wife, Cindy, took her to the USA. Cindy was in Bangladesh and she and some of the medical personnel visited Mother Theresa's orphanage to try and help the children there. There were two little baby girls there. One had a heart problem, the other a severe cleft palate. Cindy was very concerned about their ability to survive and their need for medical treatment, so she decided to take them to America for medical treatment. She fell in love with both of them.
