The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) has recently launched www. Global Development Commons.net, a website that brings international development and technology innovations together. The Global Development Commons initiative seeks innovations that to make knowledge more accessible and affordable to help people in the developing countries solve social and economic problems. This website seeks to catalyze the international development community to become more open and collaborative through information and communication technologies.

The USAID deserves appreciation for the above initiatives, which I am sure will bring momentum to the global development efforts.
