The leaders and activists of the Rupganj Upazila Awami League held a meeting at Kamargope Govt Primary School field on the 25th November with Oali Ullah, Awami League president of the No-03 ward of Tarabo Pourashava in the chair.

Gazi Golam Dastagir, Bir Pratic nominated candidate of Awami League, for the JS poll of the upazila addressed the meeting as the chief guest. Among others, Dr Shawkat Ali, upazila Awami League Vice-Chairman, Hazi Mustafizur Rahman Mollah, Mohammad Ali Awal Mollah, Jasim Uddin Bhuiyan, Azhar Uddin, Abdul Karim and Kamal Hossain Awami League leaders addressed the meeting.

Gazi Golam Dastagir said in his address that he would do every thing for the distressed and unemployed youths. He added that he would set up a vocational institution to make the unemployed into human resource if people elect him. He sought blessing from all and urged the leaders to work together forgetting previous enmity.
