Welcoming the bounties of Winter, as well as ushering the new harvest festival, the Dhaka University Cultural Group presented a musical programme at the TSC auditorium yesterday.

The programme began was a chorus song beckoning people to winter. Sumaiya presented a Tagore song on Autumn.

The programme was organised by TSC in association with Dhaka University Alumni Association.

Mamun recalled the sweet memories of early childhood by singing a song on mother, while Mahfuz presented a modern Bengali song. After that a solo romantic song was presented which enthralled the audience. Zakaria sang a very popular song of Shah Abdul Karim "Gari Chole Na," while Debashish presented a song from a Bangla film from olden days.

Pretha and Mithun entertained the spectators with a duet dance in the programme.

Naima and Tuhin presented a duet Tagore's song, which urged the gods to make life livelier.
