Impress Telefilm's movie 'Swapna Puran' to be world premiered on Channel i at 2:35pm on Eid day. Geetali Hasan has written the story, while Shahidul Islam Khokon has scripted the film. Mohammad Hanif was in camera, Chishti Jamal was in editing and Masum Babul has directed dance and Joseph Shatabdi has written dialogue of the film. Milton Khondaker has directed music of the film.

Mousumi, Ferdous, Sohel Rana, Shahidul Alam Sacchu, Amir Siraji, Sujata, Shamsuddin Togor, Sheikh Shamim, Rasheda Chowdhury, Rehana Joly, Siraj Haider, among others, performed in the film.

Story of Swapna Puran:

Rupnagar is a village. There is no school in the village. Former teacher of the village started a free school on his own land. He dreamt once students will fulfill this school. There will be no illiterate in this village. Chairman of the village Ramiz decided to marry daughter of the teacher Rupali as third wife. Teacher and Rupali refused the proposal. Once dacoits attacked the house of the teacher and killed his wife. Then they brought up Rupali and left the house. Rupali get relief from the dacoits and went to Dhaka with the help of a truck driver. Son of the truck driver Ratan was working as an assistant of a make-up man at FDC. Then Rupali entered into film industry.

Then she fell on love with a rich man's son Fahim Chowdhury. Rupali faced a plot made by father of Fahim. Then Rupali returned to her village and again started her father's school there.

After 18 years, a human rights activist traced the file of the case and presented the true matters on the court and made Rupali from the case. The story continued.
