Rapid Action Battalion (RAB), in separate drives, arrested two terrorists along with Yaba tablets, some heroine and arms and ammunition from the city's Agargaon and Mohammadpur area on Monday-Tuesday.

In a drive, on suspicion RAB-2 men challenged three/four youths near Agargaon Cooperative Office at about 12.15am on Tuesday.

At one stage, they opened fire on RAB men when they chased them. The elite force retaliated it, leaving drug peddler Delwar Hossain alias Nayan wounded. His associates, however, managed to flee.

On his confessional statement, the elite force recovered one revolver, its one bullet and 92 small packets of heroine from the area, said a RAB press release.

In another drive, RAB arrested drug peddler Rafiqul Islam along with 100 Yaba tablets from Zakir Hossain Road in Mohamadpur area at 6:45pm on Monday.
