A fire was broke out at Mona Securities Limited of Dhaka Stock Exchange Limited (DSE) on the third floor of (DSE) main building of the country's prime bourse at about 8.00am yesterday.

Fire brigade reached the spot just after the fire, originating from short circuit broke out, and brought it under control.

The office of the Mona Securities was partially damaged by the faire, however other broker houses and the DSE office remained unaffected.

Trading at DSE started normally at 10.00am.
