Two passengers were killed and 20 others injured as a bus rammed into a CNG-run autorickshaw at Lolati under Sonargaon upazila in Narayanganj yesterday.

The dead were identified as Shah Alam 20 and Kafiluddin 70. They hailed from Araihazar upazila of the district.

Police and local people said when an Araihazar bound bus hit the autorickshaw mangling it badly and fell into a ditch at noon.

The two dead were autorickshaw passengers and the 20 injured bus passengers.

Five of the injured were later admitted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
