The publication ceremony of the book titled 'Khomotar Mullah'(Value of Power) by Mahmud Shafiq was held at the National Press Club in the capital recently.

Speakers at the function said that poet and journalist Mahmud Shafiq, writer of the book, has skillfully projected the hopes and aspiration of the common people of the country.

The function was presided over by Tritio Swar president Abbas Uddin Afsari. Senior journalist Riaz Uddin Ahmed attended the function as chief guest while National Press Club president Shawkat Mahmud attended as special guest.

Journalist Amanullah Kabir, National Press Club Secretary Kamal Uddin Sabuj, artist Lutfal Hoque, poet Majid Mahmud, Mostaq Ahmed, Sheikh Rakib Uddin, Ershad Mojumder, Masud Chowdhury, writer Mahmud Shafiq , among others, took part in the discussion on the newly published book.
