Siblings chopped to deathover land dispute in Barguna Our Correspondent, Barisal Two brothers were chopped to death by close relatives in dispute over harvesting paddy in Chila village under Haldia union of Barguna district on Thursday morning. Faruk Hossain, sub inspector of Amtali police station and Dr. Asit Barun Biswas, Amtali upazila health officer, confirming the report said that Shohel, 20, and Rubel, 22, sons of Mustafa Sardar went to a disputed land for harvesting paddy at about 10:00 am Thursday morning. Anwar Sadar and his 4 sons, uncle and cousins of the siblings with lethal and sharp weapons attacked and chopped Sohel and Rubel mercilessly and left the spot leaving them in critical condition. The victims died on the way to hospital. Police sent the dead bodies to Barguna Sadar hospital morgue for post mortem.
