Criminal escapes with handcuffs from custody

A criminal escaped with handcuffs from police custody in Jessore Rail Station yesterday

Police said they arrested Shamim, accused in a number of cases, from Bhaberber village Thursday night.

Shamim fled away after hitting the port thana police when they were taking him to Jessore court by a train.

Police launched a massive hunt in different areas of the district.
