Actor Amal Majumder passes away

UNB, Jessore

Veteran actor of Jessore Amal Majumder died of old age complications at a hospital here on Sunday night. He was 74.

Majumder left behind his wife, two sons, one daughter and a host of well-wishers to mourn his death. He was cremated at Nilganj crematory on Monday.

Earlier, his body was kept at Jessore Institute premises for his admirers to pay their last respect.

Amal started his acting career through the drama 'Dakghar' in 1952.
