The Dhaka University authority decided to celebrate four hundred years anniversary of Dhaka City side-by-side government initiative on November 28 and 29.

They authority took some initiatives in this regard at a meeting at Nabab Nowab Ali Chowdhury Senate Bhaban yesterday with Vice-Chancellor of the University Prof SMA Faiz in the chair.

All Syndicate Members, Deans of Faculties, Hall Provosts, Proctors, Chairmen of some Departments and officials of the University were present in the meeting.

Besides, Dhaka University, Dhaka University Alumni Association and Dhaka University Journalist Union jointly will again observe the anniversary on November 30 through different programmes. The programmes included cultural function, discussion meeting and photo exhibition.
