A 16-member President XI team leaves here for Kolkata Sunday night by road to take part in the prestigious Nehru Cup Hockey now being held in the Indian State of Hariana.

The Bangladesh team will directly play in the 2nd round of the meet on November 20 with a yet unknown opponent. The first phase of the tournament began on Nov. 14

President XI: Zahid Hossain, Asaduzzaman Chandan, Moshiur Rahman Biplob, AKM Shamsuddin, Taposh Barman, Ferdous Goldar, Imran Hasan Pintu, Shahidullah Tito, Quamruzaman Rana, Ashiquzzaman, Jamal Hossain Khan, Sheikh Mohammad Nannu, Zahid Bin Talib, Krishna Kumar and Rimon Kumar Ghosh.

Standbys: Mehrab Hossain, Hadiuzzaman, Abdus Sajjad John and Syed Al Masum.
